“What you are is what you have been, and what you will be is what you do now.”
Another Christmas has come and gone, doesn’t time fly by so quickly? I hope that you’ve been enjoying the Holiday season so far, and that you are taking this time to relax, to get out of your daily routine and endless to do lists. I myself have had a wonderful and joyful Christmas with my closest family members and loved one’s (for the first time in a decade)!
This time of the year is perfectly cut out for some inner channeling and a little day-dreaming, don’t be afraid to dive into your creative mind, go ahead and allow yourself to play and fool-around; it’s time to reconnect with yourself and your loved one’s. Everybody needs some time to let loose and reset their minds, we should all allow ourselves to get out of the mundane and get ready and inspired for an EPIC new year to come our way! Too many times, we believe that by doing MORE we receive more, when what counts in reality is the quality, the intention and the energy we put into our daily actions, it’s not about obsessively trying to get everything we can possibly think of done so that we can “look good on paper” and be approved by our society and its limited set of rules! It’s time to focus on what truly matters my friends…
We all know that the body and mind are interrelated and that in order for you to reach your fitness goals, your mind needs to be strong and happy.
Today, I want you to think of what you have been doing in the past weeks, months or maybe even years and what have been the direct outcomes of those specific thoughts, beliefs and actions. Think of the things you are eager to change and try to find out how your daily habits have resulted in your current lifestyle. If we want to change, to improve and to succeed in fulfilling ourselves (fitness related or not), we must first realize that our actions NOW give us our life quality TOMORROW. So what will you do TODAY for a better tomorrow? Think of it this way, YOU REALLY DO HAVE SUPER POWERS… because everyday, you get to create something extraordinary, not only for your own living experience but for everybody that enters your life, you get to create wonders, never forget this! It’s time to set your standards high and aim for the starts, today, now, go ahead and write it down so that you are reminded every single day: “2013 IS MY EPIC YEAR“. I want to know what you are capable of, you might really surprise yourself. Remember that good habits are as addictive as bad ones, but much more rewarding.
PS. Here is a pretty song by Major Lazer that I’ve been enjoying and loving these days
