Have you been struggling with reaching your fitness goals, losing weight and getting in shape once and for all? Do you feel like you’ve been trying over and over again without being able to stick to your plan?

I certainly know how discouraging it can feel. Every time you fail, you start losing hope and trust in your abilities, which only makes the cycle more painful and frustrating.

Did you ever stop & think that your approach might not be a reinforcing one; did you ever think that it might be time to try a different formula, one that is more empowering and more loving?

Most of the time I hear people talking about their bodies and the way they look, they talk about themselves with discontentment, with dislike and even disgust (I’ve been a victim of negative self-talk myself)! That is no way of creating a solid base to developing new and lasting habits and it’s almost a guaranteed recipe for disaster!

Using hate & anger as fuel to reach your goals might work for a short period of time but it’s certainly not a lasting blueprint to success. Going on fad diets, yo-yo dieting, negative self-talk and continuously getting into reckless downward spirals is NOT SEXY neither EMPOWERING! It’s time for change and it all starts with the way we perceive ourselves and our bodies!

What if getting a workout done is a way to reward your body? What if blending a sweet green smoothie is a way of treating yourself? What if you woke up in the morning and told your body “thank you, thank you for giving me the energy I need to by active, thank you for allowing me to walk, to stretch, to move and to get stronger, thank you for the endless possibilities”?

What if getting fit and healthy was a way to thank your body, to pamper it and love it? Regular exercise and delicious whole foods should be a gift instead of another nagging task!

You owe it to yourself, your body deserves all the love it can get and nobody can love it the way you can baby!

There is nothing wrong with wanting to look better and become fitter, there is nothing wrong with wanting to look your best & improving yourself, inside & out,  but DAMN, love yourself wherever you are at today, love the journey, don’t expect perfection, whatever that means, there is no such thing. Be that gal or dude that is proud of their body, no matter what stage you are at, OWN IT!

Feeling strong, sexy and confident is exciting, it’s a true gift, grab it, live it, work it!
