Summary of the week:
- 1 x 45min. Brisk walk
- 1 x 12min. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)
- 1 x 25min. Booty Circuit
+ 45min. mowing the lawn up & down hill… this should definitely count as a cardio session!!
After all of those rainy days, it’s finally warming up here in Croatia and I’m slowly getting some of that motivation to exercise back! Wouhouuu! Finally! I kind of got scared there for a moment…
Yesterday was the first time this year that I mowed my lawn (and let me tell you that it was no walk in the park). Mowing your lawn, especially if it’s uphill and your mower is getting kind of old so you have to push it in order for it to move forward, is pretty demanding! On top of it all, it kept shutting down on me every 2 minutes because of all of the humid grass and accumulated dirt so I had to stop, clean it up and get it back on continuously! What an adventure, and a great workout!
I love our cottage house, it’s such a beautiful place to unwind, relax and rejuvenate (and have kick-ass parties with the friends)! On top of that, it keeps me and my boyfriend in shape since there is always something to work on, whether it’s mowing, gardening, renovating, we’ve got our hands full!
