To be honest, I couldn’t imagine my life without exercise anymore.
I do have weeks when everything seems to happen all at once and I find myself struggling to do my 20 minute workouts and to follow through my own workout routine. If possible, I always try to do at least a 5 minute high intensity workout on those days. If that’s not possible and I have to skip the workout, I try not to beat myself up and be kind to myself. Always following the 80/20 rule, which means, I try to follow through my routine a minimum of 80% of my time, but I also have 20% to slip off. Which is still fine and won’t risk what I’ve achieved so far. The overall consistency is key.
Rituals that keep me feeling balanced & happy…
Yoga is a huge part of my life. I’ve been doing yoga for many years, I did a yoga teacher training in Rishikes and was working as a yoga teacher in Bali. In between my workout days I always do some yoga at home, this helps me to de-stress and calm down. I furthermore am a huge believer of meditation and I try to meditate daily for a minimum of 30 minutes. This is my time to switch off my mind and to just focus on my breath.
